Congratulations to our 8 girls, Coach Lambert and Chaperone Joan for their particiaption and effort at the WAISAL soccer tournament over the spring break. The girls played 6 matches over 2 days. Games were 7 aside, so we had one sub but then Rimu was injured in the first game so we were down to the bare minimum for the rest of the tournament. The girls played on and never gave up. There were some very tired , bruised and battered bodies by the end of the tournament. The girls picked up 3rd place and the Spirit Award and by all accounts they had a great time on and off the field. They really enjoyed AIS Lagos hospitality and they only had very positive things to say about the tournament.
