Teams:
MS Basketball Season
MS basketball is in full swing and we have big numbers
turning out. We have 25 girls and 32 boys which is great numbers. We will
finish practices next week and begin the Intramural competition May 8th.
We will also select a boys and girls team from the group to play in a MS
tournament Saturday June 2nd. I have attached the calendar for the
remainder of the basketball season.

MS Madness Soccer Tournament begins Wednesday May 2nd
during lunchtimes. Thank to Ms. Roderick and the enthusiastic the MS school
students for getting this event off the ground.
HS Soccer Season
HS Girls Soccer to Lagos for WAISAL-April 12-15
Congratulation to the
girls on their 3rd place and sportsmanship award at the HS WAISAL tournament
in Lagos over the spring vacation. The team went with 8 players and played 6
matches over 2 days. It was a 7 aside tournament and by game six the girls
were reduced to 6 players because of injury but they hung in there all
battered and bruised. Great stuff girls and big thanks to Coach Lambert and
to his wife Joan for looking after our lady Jaguars.
HS Boys Invitational Tournament April 21
The boys were placed 2nd
in the ISD invitational tournament on Saturday April 21. The boys won 2 games
and loss 1. The boys played consistently throughout the tournament and played
as a team. In their final game against Kiki Sports the boys were down 4-0
with 7 minutes to go and the boys lifted their game and were finally beaten
4-3.
HS Girls Invitational Tournament April 28
Please come out and
support the girls’ soccer team on Saturday. The tournament begins at 10am and
finishes at 4:30pm. The girls will play Dakar Academy, Ngor and Siran. See
schedule attached. Go Jaguars!

African Dance and Drum
Classes
Anyone interested in
African dance classes taught by a professional Guinean dancer. We'll be
dancing to live drumming, led by Fode Bangoura (my husband) and master
drummer. Classes will be on Tuesdays, at 4:30 under the tree next to the gym,
and will cost 7,000 CFA per class. Come on out and
DANCE!! Djembe
drum class of the year started on Thursdays. We'll be under the tree
next to the gym, starting at 4:20. If the rhythms move you, just come on

Score” Rugby Club invites all students aged 5 years to 14 years interested in
