Meet Some World Class Athletes

A group of ISD track and field athletes have been invited to attend an athlete event organized by CISA (Convention Internationale du Sport en Afrique) on Friday May 3. The athletes will meet some former Olympic and World gold medalist and record holders. The students will also participate in a 2km fun run. Here is a list of 3 of the former stars -Hicham el Guerrouj-Morocco-1500m and 5000-Gold in Athens and Sydney, Kristy Coventry-Zimbabwe-swimmer-Gold in Athens and Beijing and Tegla Laroupe-Kenya-Marathon runner-many world championships
