 HS Volleyball Boys and Girls

Practices-Boys and Girls-next week -Tuesday last practice of season                                                                                                                          

 Results this week:

Thursday Boys -ISD A vs Ngor-2-0, ISD B vs. Ngor-0-2

Girls-ISD A vs. Ngor-2-0, ISD B vs. Ngor-0-2

HS Boys and Girls Volleyball teams depart for the WAISAL tournament, Accra, Ghana on Wednesday November 13. They need to meet at the airport at 6am on Wednesday and picked up from the airport on Monday morning @ 0055. See information sheet attached. The travelling students need to complete absence forms by Tuesday November 12.

MS Soccer- Boys and Girls

 Practices next week: Thursday- 3:30pm-5:15pm

WAISAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT-DAKAR-DEC 4-8 -81 SOCCER PLAYERS COMING-NEED BEDS!

We have 81 visiting soccer palyers and we need to house these students. I have 21 beds to date and need 60 more beds or 30 families(take 2 players) Soccer players brought hosting forms home last week, please return or email me if you can host. I have attached information for hosting and about the tournament. 

WAISAL Trip to Lagos Nigeria-Thursday October 31-Sunday November 3

Congratulations to the ISD swim team who took 3rd place at the WAISAL tournament and most swimmers came away with a medal(s). All swimmers swam their best times for the year and they had lots of fun with swimmers form other schools. Thanks to Coach Andrews, Coach Ermanovic for all their work throughout the season. Thanks to Ms. Roderick and the following parents, Mrs Kane, Mrs. de Andrade, Mr. Hamilton, Mrs. Gardner and Mr. Grist for their help and support at the swim meet in Lagos.

Final placings: 1st-LCS A, Accra-Ghana, 2nd-AIS Lagos, Nigeria, 3rd-ISD Dakar, Senegal, 4th-AIS Abuja Nigeria, 5th-LCS B, Accra Ghana, 6th-AIS Lagos B, Nigeria, 7th-AIS Abuja B Nigeria 

Gaucher's Soccer Academy Tournament-Saturday November 16-9am-11:30am

 Grade 4/5 Basketball-3:20pm-4:30pm

Tournament Saturday November 23-9am-11:30am-Gym

 Rugby-5 years to 14 years

The rugby club meets on Fridays from 5pm-6:30pm @ the French Military base on Quakam road. There are 3 age groups and they have practices weekly and play matches 3 or 4 times a year.

ASA –Afterschool activities

ASA Trimester 1 ends November 22.

Please no more changes-the students must stay in the activity for the remainder of the session.

All students should have paid fees to their instructors by now, if you have not could we do this ASAP.

I will be asking teachers to sign up for activities trimester 2. If there are any parents who would like to offer activities for our students trimester 2, please email -murray@isd.sn

Recreational Facilities

Hours-Weekdays-5pm-8pm and Weekends-8am-8pm (pool open at 10am)

Please sign pool waivers before entering the pool. See Cisse-pool manager for forms.

Please book tennis courts with Cisse- pool manager.

Please purchase guest passes from François, our cashier, 2500 CFA if you plan on bringing a guest to the facilities.

Evening Community Activities

You must show your community activity ID card to the guards on entry. No card ,no entry
