Wow! is all I can say to describe the Middle School Boys basketball game vs. Marzin on April 27th.  The team came back from being down 4 points in the last minute to win the game.  Jasim hit the game winning 3 pointer with 1.7 seconds left on the clock.

The other boys are getting plenty of action as well.  Coach Kofi had our B teams playing WACA and Marzin as well.  In the WACA game, our boys fell just short.  In the Marzin game, the Jags were defeated soundly.  Big shout out to Andrew for his 4 points in the final minute of the game.

The next games for boys will be on May 4th as they travel to Dakar Academy.  The list will be out shortly.

Girls Basketball continues to work on their skills and play well.

Practices are done for the year.

In elementary volleyball, the team got their first work with competition as the Jags took on Dakar Academy on April 27th.  ISD fared pretty well as we won a match and lost a match.  Our next match with DA will be when we travel on May 4th.

Last Thursday was the last round of games for the Intramural basketball.  Well done to everyone for coming out and making an effort to contribute to your teams.  I hope that playing these games was a good learning experience for everyone. It is important that when you look back on the games you begin to understand that playing organized basketball is very different from pick up games during lunch time.  We all have different skills we need to work on i.e dribbling with both hands, shooting technique, passing and rebounding.  These are all things that you can work on, on your own.  Don't always push yourself to play games, spend time improving these individual techniques and you will definitely see the difference when you play games.

Below are the results for the final round of games and the final standings for the teams.  CONGRATULATIONS to Yellow team for finishing top of the table.
