What an absolutely incredible week of games.  

Last Saturday, our softball cleaned off the rust and took on the One Hit Wonders.  The Jags lost 5-2 but played really well.  Both runs were scored in the last inning of the game as Hans, Nathaniel, and Melissa nailed the ball.  Big games next week as the Jags have a double header.

The basketball teams traveled to Dakar Academy last Saturday night for a double header.  The girls lead off the night with an amazing 20-16 victory over the Lions.  Providence hit the winning bucket with about 30 seconds to go in the affair.  Claierose cleaned up with a lay-up to finish the game off.

In the boys game, the Jaguars dominated most of the night winning 40-27.  Leading the way was Luc R.  His senior leadership was really apparent on the court as he was able to take it to the rim quite often.  Hans also played exceptional basketball.  In the second half, the Jags applied the full-court press.  This frustrated the Lions causing many turnovers and easy layups.  Nathaniel was the key to the full court press.

It was awesome to have the cheerleaders travel with us to DA as they brought the added spark to the action.

On Wednesday, the boys took on Yoff in league action.  Unfortunately, the Jags fell short in overtime 20-19.  Leading the way with 5 points was Malick.  Alain was a monster on defense and also chipped in 4 points.

In a B game against Club Atlantique, the boys dominated from start to finish.  Yanees tallied 4 points in the victory and did an excellent job running the offense.  Danny was incredible on offense and defense as he popped in 8 points.
