High School Basketball, High School Softball, and Middle School Volleyball are now in full swing.  Basketball had their first competition this week as Dakar Academy came over for a short workshop on leadership and then had a scrimmage.  Both the boys and girls looked ready for the season to get going.  Below is the Power Point of the presentation given by Mr. Rodine from ISD and Mr. McIntosh from DA.

Softball is ready for action as they begin the season on Saturday vs. the Globetrotters at Ebbett's Field.  Game time is at noon.  Come out and cheer on the Jags.

Middle School Volleyball is 50 athletes strong.  They will begin round robin play this week.

Schedule for the Week.

Monday:  H/S Basketball:  Boys in the gym and the girls on the outside courts 4:45pm-6:30pm
Tuesday:  Middle School Volleyball:  Outside and Inside Courts 3:30pm-5:15pm
Wednesday: H/S Basketball:  Girls in the gym and boys on the outside courts 4:15pm-6:30pm
                   Softball:  4:15pm-6:00pm

Athletics will also begin incorporating a Study Hall for struggling students.  This will be required for any student who is currently earning two D's or one F.  They will be on probation for the first two weeks.  After that, the athlete will not be able to participate in athletics.
