WAISAL HS Volleyball Finals

The boys and girls teams made it through to the finals against our close rivals from The Lincoln Community School -Accra, Ghana. The girls played the first final and won convincingly-25-7 and 25 -14 against LCS. The girls went through the tournament unbeaten-7-0. They played teams from Ouagadougou, Lagos, Abuja, Accra and Douala. Filipa Ferrier was named MVP for the girls tournament. Congrats to the Lady Jags!

The boys played LCS in the final and the game was the tightest and most exciting game of the tournament. The skill play and movement by both teams was of a very high level and this made the game very close and tense. The match could have gone either way but the ISD boys going down 18-16 in the 3rd set. The boys can be very proud of their play at the tournament. Nicky Mathy and Nicholas Dillener made the tournament team. Go Jags!

The ISD boys have won the WAISAL HS Boys volleyball tournament for the last 4 years and they were going for a 5 peat!

The LCS have won the WAISAL HS Girls volleyball tournament for the last 5 years!
