PARENT SATISFACTION SURVEY 
The Parent Satisfaction Survey went out to all ISD parents this Tuesday 21 February. We sincerely thank parents who have already completed the survey. If you have not yet had a chance to respond click on the following link (2017 ISD Parent Survey) and take 5 to 10 minutes to do so now and make sure your opinion is heard. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you! 

Please be assured that the survey is confidential and results are analyzed by a third-party provider based in the United States. 


ISD SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS 

Registration for ISD School Board Trustee Candidates is NOW OPEN! Every year the ISD Association elects trustees to serve on the ISD Board for a two-year term. Six trustee positions are open for election this year. Trustee candidates must be the parent or legal guardian of an enrolled ISD student whose tuition payments are current. 

 

Candidate registration is open until March 17, 2017. 

We are seeking individuals with the following interests and skills: 
•Commitment to ISD and its Guiding Statements, 
•The ability to work as a team player with a diverse, international group in a multi-cultural environment, 
•An expertise that will benefit the work of the Board, 
•Experience on a school Board or similar non-profit body is helpful, 
•An interest in strategic issues related to ISD’s present and future educational quality and development, 
•Experience living or working in an international environment. 

Interested candidates should send a CV and letter of intent stating why you would like to run for a trustee position by March 17, 2017 to ISD Board Secretary, Marie Blanchard at boardbox@isd.sn. 

 

 

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Please mark your calendars for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the ISD Association being held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. 

The AGM is the yearly meeting of members of the ISD Association, i.e. all ISD parents and guardians, ISD faculty and the school’s Director. The agenda will include a report from the Chairperson of the Board, the Director’s annual report, presentation on the school’s financial position, sharing the results of the student and parent surveys, and faculty and staff service awards. We encourage all parents to attend this important meeting.
