 PARENT SATISFACTION SURVEY The Parent Satisfaction Survey went out to all ISD parents this Tuesday 1 March. We sincerely thank parents who have already completed the survey. If you have not yet had a chance to respond please go to your email box and take 5 to 10 minutes to do so now and make sure your opinion is heard. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Please be assured that the survey is confidential and results are analyzed by a third-party provider based in the United States. ISD SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS Registration for ISD School Board Trustee Candidates is NOW OPEN! Every year the ISD Association elects trustees to serve on the ISD Board for a two-year term. Four trustee positions are open for election this year. Trustee candidates must be the parent or legal guardian of an enrolled ISD student whose tuition payments are current. Candidate registration is open from March 1, 2016 to March 18, 2016. We are seeking individuals with the following interests and skills: •Commitment to ISD and its Guiding Statements, •The ability to work as a team player with a diverse, international group in a multi-cultural environment, •An expertise that will benefit the work of the Board, •Experience on a school Board or similar non-profit body is helpful, •An interest in strategic issues related to ISD’s present and future educational quality and development, •Experience living or working in an international environment. Interested candidates should send a CV and letter of intent stating why you would like to run for a trustee position by March 18, 2016 to ISD Board Secretary, Gilles Meura at boardbox@isd.sn.
