ISD children in exhibition

posted Dec 5, 2011, 11:04 AM by Marylene, MICHELET

Find your child’s Sierpinksi triangle in a forest of fractal trees!

From the 10th – 17th December, the artwork of some ISD students (grades 1 through 10) will be displayed at the Institute Francais on the plateau. The exhibition is the culminating event of art workshops held around the city and at the Institute that focused on fractals in Africa. Over 300 students from six schools, including French and Senegalese schools, participated in ‘L’Union Fait le Beau’. One of our teachers, Tej Rae, is a member of ImaginationAfrika, (www.imaginationafrika.com) the association that brings us this event.
