Tickets are on sale now for the April 18 Dakar Women's Group Gala. Contact Sharon Nossiter at sharonnossiter@gmail.com, or look for us after school next week. Tickets are 30,000 cfa -- it's an open event to anyone who buys a ticket. This is one of our last fundraisers this year for our 2015-2016 Charity Committee budget.

This year's Gala is at the home of the Belgian Ambassador Johan Verkammen. Alkimia/LaFourchette is catering. We'll have live music and a DJ.

Pamoussa, who is Youssou N'Dour's top dancer, will perform, and the ticket price also covers soft drinks, wine, champagne. And Belgian beer and frites!

There will also be a cash bar for those who really need a gin-and-tonic wink emoticon.
