Eligibility Rules: 

• Photos must be taken in Senegal.

• Photographers must be students, parents or staff of ISD. They will be placed in the following divisions: Elementary School, Middle/High School, and Adults.

• Photos must be submitted to a specific category for consideration. The four categories are: Nature, People and Faces, City Life, ISD in Action.

• The photographer grants ISD permission to use the photograph in the "ISD Explores Senegal" calendar, the school's website and Facebook account, printed material, and any prints to be displayed on campus. Likewise, ISD reserves the right to disqualify any image deemed inappropriate.

• All entries must be high-resolution digital submissions, sent to photos@isd.sn in jpeg format. (Note: Photos taken from phones will most likely not meet these requirements)

• Photos must be submitted following the guidelines listed below. (Submission by email demonstrates understanding of above rules.)

Prizes:

• There will be a winner chosen (by panel of judges) in each division for each category. They will receive a complimentary "ISD Explores Senegal" calendar featuring the winning photos. 

• The "People’s Choice Award”, determined through ISD's Facebook page, will be featured on the cover.

• All winners (12 in all) will receive ISD Explores Senegal t-shirts.

To submit:

Email your photo (jpeg, high resolution) to photos@isd.sn and include the following information: 

• Name
• If student: age/grade
• If parent: age/grade of son(s) or daughter(s)
• Category: Nature, People and Faces, City Life, or ISD in Action
• Where the photo was taken
• One sentence story behind the photo
