Students at ISD have once again far surpassed the national average in Advanced Placement (AP) Exam scores.  AP Exams are administered world-wide in May of each year.  Possible scores on these university-level exams range from 1 - 5, with "passing" scores of 3 or above possibly earning university credit for that course.  In 2011 a total of 52 ISD students took one or more AP Exams in French Language, Human Geography, Psychology, Calculus, Biology, and English Language & Composition.  Of a total 78 exams taken, 27 earned the highest score of 5, 26 earned a score of 4, and 14 earned a score of 3 for a total passing rate of 86%!  The national average is approximately 60%.

Please join us in congratulating these students, and their teachers, for their hard work and achievement in AP Courses and Exams!
