PSAT Next Week! All grade 10 and grade 11 students will be taking the PSAT on Oct 15th. The PSAT will start at 8:30 am and last until approximately 11:45 am. All grade 10 and grade 11 students were sent home with a PSAT informational packet and practice test to help them prepare for the exam. The PSAT assesses college readiness in critical reading, math, and writing. The PSAT will provide detailed feedback on the skills assessed and will also give students access to online tools, scholarships, and test prep materials. The PSAT is designed in the same format as the SAT and evaluates the same skills presented on the SAT. Once PSAT results are received, students will have a custom SAT study plan based on their results. In addition to providing feedback on college readiness, students will also have access to My College Quick Start which is an online resource with personality tests, career search and suggestions, as well a college search database to help the students start thinking and planning for the future.
