The Latest Offers of Admission from Colleges and Universities -- Go Jaguars!

Several more offers of admission were received this week, bringing the total offers to ISD seniors to 51 as of this week!  Please see below for the most current news of where our Seniors have been offered admission. 

Here is quick glance at the offers received so far:

Khadidiatou Agne:  University of Oregon - a public 4 year university in Eugene, Oregon, USA.  UO has over 18,000 undergraduate students (6% are international). 

Larissa Blagogee:  University of Mary Washington - a public 4-year university and liberal arts college in Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA.  UMW enrolls 4300 undergraduate students.

Medina Charpentier:  Kingston University - one of the United Kingdom's fastest growing newer universities in London, with approx. 20,000 students (14% international)

Marco Cordoni:  University of Alaska - (previously noted in the Jag Journal) a public 4-year university in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA, with over 5000 undergrad's.
Marco's 2nd Offer:  St. Thomas University - jointly a public and Roman Catholic liberal arts university located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.  STU enrolls 2500 students.
New!  Marco's most recent offer: Southampton Solent University - a public university in Southampton, England.  SSU enrolls approximately 11,000 students, including 9700+ undergraduates (14% international).

Haris Fontaine: New York University - Founded in 1831, New York University is now one of the largest private universities (over 40,000 students) in the United States and one of only 60 member institutions of the distinguished Association of American Universities.

Lori Gauthier:  Brock University - a public university in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.  One of the fastest growing universities in Canada, Brock enrolls 18,500 undergraduate students (8% international).

Ophelie Kompaore:  University of California-Davis
- a public 4-year university in Davis, California, USA.  Founded in 1905, UC Davis enrolls over 24,000 undergraduates (2% international).
Ophelie's 2nd Offer: University of California-San Diego - a public 4-year university in La Jolla, California, USA, with 25,000 undergraduate students. 
New!  Ophelie's next offer:  Michigan State University - a public 4-year university in East Lansing, Michigan.  7% of MSU's 36,000+ undergrad's are international students.

Alizee Lefebvre:  Kingston University - one of the United Kingdom's fastest growing newer universities in London, with approx. 20,000 students (14% international)

Carine Oyekola:  University of Maryland - a public, 4-year university in College Park, Maryland, USA.  UM currently enrolls ~26,000 undergraduate students and has been named to the Times Higher Education's 2013 top 100 World Reputation Rankings list and #38 in the world by the Institute of Higher Education (Jiao Tong University, Shanghai.
     Carine's earlier offer:  State University of New York, Binghamton - a public 4-year university in Binghamton, New York, USA with 12,000 undergraduate students (10% international).

Hani Shadid:  West Virginia University - a public 4-year university in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA.  WVU enrolls approx. 22,000 undergraduate students and 7000+ graduate students.

Pulkit Sharma:  Chapman University - Chapman University is a private, 4-year university and liberal arts college located in Orange, California, USA.  Chapman enrolls 4500 undergraduates of which 3% are international.

Kadiatou Traore:  Virginia Wesleyan College - a private 4-year liberal arts college in Norfolk, Virgina.  VWC enrolls 1300 undergrad's (1% international)
Kadiatou's 2nd offer:  Rochester Institute of Technology - a private 4-year university in Rochester, New York.  11% of RIT's 13,000+ undergraduates are international.
New!  Kadiatou's most recent offer:  University of Tampa - a private liberal arts college and 4-year university in Tampa, Florida.  UT enrolls 5500+ undergraduate students (9% international)  Several recent ISD graduates are attending UT. 

Samantha Umukesharugo:  University of Windsor - a public comprehensive and research university in Windsor, Ontario.  Canada's southernmost university, UW enrolls 16,500 students. 
     Samantha's 2nd Offer:  Carleton University - Carleton is a dynamic research and teaching institution dedicated to achieving the highest standards of scholarship.   Located in the capital of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, CU enrolls over 19,000 undergraduates.

Nathan Vanelli - Macalester College - Macalester is a private liberal arts college in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, with 2000+ undergraduate students from 49 states and 94 countries (18% international).  Highly selective, Macalester has an intense focus on educating students in an international tradition and prepares students "to change the world".

Julia Versel:  Yale-NUS College - a partnership between Yale University and the National University of Singapore, Yale-NUS is Singapore's first liberal arts college; students will develop integrated competence in science, social science, and humanities more rigorously than the leading liberal arts colleges.  Highly selective, only 150 students will be admitted in this inaugural year. 
     Julia's 2nd offer:  Elon University - a private 4-year university in Elon, North    Carolina, USA.  Elon enrolls 5000 undergrad's and 700 graduate students.

Vassar College -
Vassar College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college in Poughkeepsie, New York.  6% of Vassar's 2400 undergrad's are international.
Emory University - a private 4-year research university in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.  Emory enrolls 5300+ undergraduates.
University of Washington - a public 4-year university in Seattle, Washington.  6% of UW's 31,000 undergraduates are international.
Northeastern University - a private 4-year research university in Boston, Massachusetts.  Northeastern enrolls over 15,000 undergraduates (8% international)
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill - a public 4-year university in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with 18,000 undergraduate students (2% international)
Tulane University - a private 4-year university located in New Orleans, Louisiana.  3% of Tulane's 7000+ undergraduates are international.
Harvard College - the undergraduate program of Harvard University, and the USA's oldest college (founded in 1636), Harvard College enrolls 6500+ undergraduate students.  Harvard University is currently ranked #1 in the world on multiple university ranking lists.

Amy Yeager:  Savannah College of Art and Design - a private 4-year visual and performing arts college in Savannah, Georgia, USA.  SCAD enrolls approx. 8000 undergraduates (9% international) in a rigorous liberal arts curriculum along with a strong fine arts foundation.  Amy has been offered $60,000 in scholarships at SCAD!
     Amy's 2nd offer:  Clark University - a private 4-year university and liberal arts college in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.  Clark is one of the 40 "Colleges That Change Lives" in the Lauren Pope book by the same name; Clark enrolls 2300 undergrad's, of whom 40% are international.  Clark has offered Amy $72,000 in scholarships!
Amy's 3rd offer:  Case Western Reserve University - a private 4-year university located in Cleveland, Ohio.  Case Western enrolls 4500 undergraduate students (5% international).  Case Western has offered Amy $92,000 in scholarships, bringing the total scholarships offered to Amy to almost a quarter-of-a-million dollars! 

Stan Zakpa: West Virginia University - a public 4-year university in Morgantown, West Virginia, USA.  WVU enrolls approx. 22,000 undergraduate students and 7000+ graduate students.
Penn State University - Abington - public 4-year university in Abington, Pennsylvania, enrolling 3000 undergraduates (1% international)
Kansas State University - public 4-year university in Manhattan, Kansas.  KSU enrolls 18,000+ undergraduates (5% international)
