Dear Parents,

As we begin the school’s three-week vacation, I would like to thank all the parents for their wonderful support of ISD.  It has been a very busy first half of the year with 26 new teachers, over 140 new students, the accreditation preparatory visit, the elementary principal search, and working with two architects to develop a concept design of the performing arts center as well as updating the campus master plan.

It has been great to have seen so many parents on campus for concerts, sporting events, special classroom events, parent-teacher conferences, or simply stopping by for a visit.  There have been many conversations with parents and teachers about how we can continue to improve our school and keep our campus safe.  This is what makes our community so special.

To the families who are moving on to new adventures, I wish you good luck.  Do write to let us know how your children are settling in to their new school.

To the families who are returning in January, I hope your family has a restful break.  See you on January 5.
