PYP, Primary Years Program Did you know that the ISD Elementary Faculty is in the process of learning about the PYP? We suspect you might have many questions with regards to the PYP, questions ranging from: What is the PYP? to How might the PYP benefit our students and school? We hope to address your questions and inform you as to what the PYP is all about. We have already hosted two meetings. Please join us for one or more of the remaining informational meetings: Tuesday, February 21st at 8am in the Conference Room Wednesday, February 22nd at 6 pm in the Conference Room **************************** PTO The PTO invites you to come to our weekly Wednesday mornings where we enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a friendly visit. We are a good group of parents who are interested in offering fun family oriented activities outside of the school day. Come and help us plan!! Our next event is a POP UP SALE! Watch for us to be selling our goodies just inside the front gate TODAY. We have lots of wonderful artisan made products as well as our awesome Jaguar gear. Get ready for WAISAL!!! Yes, that is St. Patrick’s day and it’s your lucky day because we will be hosting the ISD Elementary School Picnic and the PTO will be hosting BINGO Night!
The 5th Annual Soirée Littéraire is scheduled for April The Soirée Littéraire is an adults-only PTO event where ISD parents, teachers and staff host book-themed dinners in their homes from 7-9pm. This year’s Soirée Littéraire takes place during World Cultural Month, a great opportunity to celebrate and share the traditions we grew up with or adopted from the countries where we’ve lived! We will be sharing more details about this event soon. However, if you think you might be interested in serving as a host please send an email to kellych@faculty.isd.sn before March 17th. Once we know who will be hosting, we will send the details so you can sign up for this great event! Student Council Bake Sale!
