Dear Parents, Next week, we are celebrating kindness. Please chat with your children over dinner about what The Great Kindness Challenge means to them. We are also raising your awareness of the Maker Space that is now available after school and at weekends; we all love 3D printing and Lego Technic!! Notes: 1. Great Kindness Challenge Week: ISD will be joining over 6,781 schools around the world in an initiative called the The Great Kindness Challenge. The initiative provides a powerful tool that actively engages students, teachers, administration, families and community in creating a school culture of acceptance, tolerance, unity and respect. In the classes we'll be celebrating kindness and seeing how much we can be truly helpful to others! The week of January 25-29 will be devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible, and we'll celebrate this in our Friday assemblies.... 2. 3C to Samusocial: Mrs. Clark's Class spent time last week with the children from Samusocial. This is our first week with the organization, and we'll be visiting with Gr 3, 4 & 5 through the next 3 months: 3.
